The Canadian Institute for Health Information provides definition and methodology information for more than 100 pan-Canadian health indicators ranging from acute care, continuing care and rehabilitation to finance, spending and health human resources. Statistics Canada’s Health Indicators framework includes 80 indicators measuring health status, non-medical determinants of health, health system performance and community and health system characteristics.
