Project initiation and eligibility The project team starts the application process by submitting a service data request form (DASH Intake Form). The service team (DASH) will review the request and if deemed eligible as a multi-regional project, the service team (DASH) will conduct a feasibility review of the project and provide a resource and cost estimate (if applicable). 
Feasibility Assessment & Request for Cost Estimate DASH consolidates data centre feasibility assessment and cost estimate (if applicable) and sends to Researcher within 2-4 weeks.
Formal data access request

DASH will communicate next steps to the research team to complete the data access request (DAR), including local DAR instructions and required documentation.

DASH coordinates a project kick-off meeting between the researcher and the data centers to clarify next steps and finalize data requirements.

Consultation DASH coordinates regular meetings with researchers to ensure project progression.
Ethics, Peer Review and Funding DASH and Data Centres support the researcher to obtain the following: as per required documentation for the DASH DAR
Original Data Provider (ODP) Approvals Approvals are site/jurisdiction specific. Please refer to the local processes
Privacy, Confidentiality and Security Review Reviews are site/jurisdiction specific. Please refer to the local processes. 
Contract and Agreements Contract and Agreements are site/jurisdiction specific. Please refer to the local processes. 
Data Preparation Data Preparation are site/jurisdiction specific. Please refer to the local processes. 
DASH may coordinate meetings between the researcher and the data centers to ensure data comparability across sites
Remote and On-Site Data Access Researcher will access data as per each data centre's access policies and procedures (e.g. remote access to secure analytic environments).
Orientation, communities support, restrictions Researcher will complete applicable Orientation, communities support and restritions as per each data centre's requirements.
